The No. 3-seed New Mexico State Aggies will play the No. 1-seed Grand Canyon Antelopes at 10 p.m. ET on ESPNU for the Western Athletic Conference Championship. In the regular season, the Antelopes swept the two-game season series from the Aggies.

New Mexico State (12-7, 7-6 WAC) has won five consecutive games to make it to the Western Athletic Conference title game. On Friday night the Aggies defeated Utah Valley 78-62 in the semifinals. Donnie Tillman was New Mexico State’s best player with 23 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range. The Aggies only had two players in double-figures, but shot 45.5% from the field and 36% from behind the arc.

Grand Canyon (16-6, 9-3 WAC) is riding a mini two-game winning streak after defeating the Seattle Redhawks 81-47 on Friday night. Jovan Blackshear Jr. was the lone starter in double figures with 15 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four assists. Gabe McGlothan and Chance McMillian both had 14 points a piece off the bench for the Antelopes.

Let’s take a look at the odds for the Western Athletic Conference Championship Game at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV from DraftKings Sportsbook:

No. 1. Grand Canyon vs. No. 3 New Mexico State, 10:00 p.m., ESPNU

Point Spread: New Mexico State -2
Point Total: 125.5

Despite the Antelopes winning taking the season series from New Mexico State, the oddsmakers have the Aggies as the favorites. This will be Grand Canyon’s third-straight appearance in the WAC championship game, so they are battle-tested in this spot. This season, the Antelopes are 15-5 against the spread in their last 20 games. They are also a perfect 4-0 as an underdog this season.

The Aggies are 4-2 against the spread in their last six games against Grand Canyon. They’ve also played well on neutral courts with a record of 3-0 ATS. It should be a good game that will likely come down to the wire for a spot in the field of 68.

The pick: Grand Canyon +2
