We’ve got a ton of potential value on the seven-game slate for Tuesday. The Atlanta Hawks have some injuries to monitor in the front court and have a great matchup vs. the Rockets. We’re also looking strong at the Thunder-Bulls matchup for some cheap options.
That being said, it is a great time to give you some value plays for your DFS contest. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays under $5K that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. It does not matter if you are playing a 50/50 or Double Up contest, we are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Aleksej Pokusevski, Oklahoma City Thunder ($4,400)
The OKC Thunder are starting to infuse more youth into the lineup. Al Horford has been resting every game or so, but could be back in the lineup. Darius Bazley (shoulder) is expected to be out again vs. the Chicago Bulls tonight. Poku should get another start and has been getting a ton of minutes. The 2020 first-round pick posted career highs in pretty much every category last game: 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 3PM in 39 minutes. The Thunder are scrappy and this game could be close. We could see a similar line from Poku tonight.
Bogdan Bogdanovic, Atlanta Hawks ($4,000)
Bogdanovic has been injured most of the season but has played 5 games in March. He’s still getting back into the swing of things but played 25 minutes the last game for the Hawks, his highest total in March. If the Hawks are starting to ramp Bogdanovic up, this price is way too low in a great matchup vs. the Houston Rockets. Even if this game gets out of hand, you’d think the Hawks give Bogdanovic extra run. He seems due for a breakout from beyond the arc. This could be the spot.
Tomas Satoransky, Chicago Bulls ($3,600)
The Bulls shook up their starting lineup last game against the Toronto Raptors. Sato got the start at PG over Coby White. The Bulls played well and got the W, so you’d think Satoransky sticks in the starting 5 again. He didn’t play a ton but Sato can do a bit of everything. He finished with 10 points, 7 assists, 6 boards, 2 blocks, 1 steal and 2 3PM — again, he can do everything. Sato could be chalky but his floor is very safe.
