A devastating loss for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets is moving a line big in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, as Moses Wright, the ACC Player of The Year, will not be in Indiana for the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
BREAKING: Georgia Tech will be without star big man Moses Wright for the Yellow Jackets first-round game against Loyola Chicago, sources told me and @Brett_McMurphy.

The No. 9 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will face the No. 8 Loyola-Chicago Ramblers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament’s East Region. The MWC champion Ramblers are now a 6-point favorite over the ACC champion Yellow Jackets after opening at just -1.5. The total has also dropped from 127.5 to 125.
Tech head coach Josh Pastner had hinted at a problem in the travel party yesterday, and said a member was asymptomatic for COVID-19 and was unable to make the trip. He failed to mention it was his best player.
The 6’9 senior Wright averages 17.4 points and 8.0 rebounds, and it is devastating for the player that led Georgia Tech to their first NCAA Tournament since 2010 is unable to play in the game. The news could not be worse for the Jackets, who will be starting very behind the eight-ball against the Ramblers.
The game is scheduled for Friday, March 19th at 4:00 p.m., and will be broadcast on TBS.
