Report: Will Fuller to sign with Miami Dolphins

Free agent wide receiver Will Fuller has found a new home, and a new opportunity to compete for a starting job. The Dolphins have signed Fuller, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Fuller will miss the first game with the TEAM, as he finishes out a six-game suspension for a violation of the NFL’s PED policy that he incurred with the Texans.

The timing of Fuller’s suspension was, unfortunate. He was having a career season as the Texans WR1 after they traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Cardinals. In 11 games, Fuller posted 879 receiving yards and 8 TDs — a 16-game pace of 1,279 yards and 12 TDs. He was one of the year’s biggest values in fantasy football, ranking fifth among wide receivers in fantasy points per game in half-PPR formats after entering the season with an average draft position of WR35 per FantasyPros.

He’ll get a fresh start with the Dolphins in Miami, and hopefully, a second shot at a lead receiving role.
