Welcome to March, the one time of year people huddle around the television and flip on truTV.
The channel — which is the home for many different comedy shows like Impractical Jokers and Billy On The Street — isn’t the biggest name in television. However, it’s owned by Turner, which owns the rights to the NCAA Tournament.
The network used to be known as CourtTV, until they made the dramatic shift in programming in the early 2010s to exclusively comedy shows. Still, as Turner owns the rights to the whole tournament and there are only so many traditional channels on which the company can broadcast March Madness, truTV gets some time to shine every year.
To find DirecTV it’s on channel 246 and if you’re a DISH Network subscriber it’s on 242, or you can watch it online through your cable provider. The channel will air two games during the First Four, four games on each day of the first round, and then games during Round of 32. After that, the remaining games are on CBS, TBS, and/or TNT.
So if you’re getting ready to watch the game and you’re anxious because a random episode of Tacoma FD is on, don’t worry. You’re in the right place.
Here’s a list of all the games that you can watch on truTV coming up this month.
