There are six games on the slate in NBA play tonight, which means there are a plethora of options to throw in your NBA DFS lineups. With hot teams like the Lakers, the Jazz, and the Suns all in action, it could be a little overwhelming trying to figure out how to best configure your lineup while staying under the salary cap. Of course there are the obvious (expensive) choices, but who can you grab on the cheap that will all but guarantee to boost your team score?
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays under $5K that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. It doesn’t matter if you are playing a 50/50 or Double Up contest, we are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Jae Crowder, Phoenix Suns, $4,600
Crowder dropped a decent 25.75 DKFP in the Suns’ last game, a 1122-99 win over the Grizzlies. They’ll stay at home for their third straight game as they take on the Timberwolves, looking for their 10th win in their last 12 games. Crowder has been playing more than half the minutes in almost every game recently, scoring double-digit points and averaging 22.6 DKFP per game through his last five appearances.
Tony Snell, Atlanta Hawks, $3,600
Seeing a significant amount of minutes lately, Snell is fresh off a 28.75 DKFP performance on the road against the Rockets just a couple days ago, while going 5-for-7 from the three-point line. He can be somewhat hit-and-miss fantasy wise, but when he goes off and drops 15 points like he did in the Hawks’ last game, it’s hard not to stick him in your lineup for only $3.6k in hopes that he’ll have a repeat performance. You can expect double digits from him, as he’s only scored under 10 DKFP twice in his last 10 games.
Derrick Favors, Utah Jazz, $3,300
Favors seems almost like a steal with this price tag. He’s good for right around 15 minutes per game as he rotates in for Rudy Gobert, and is all but guaranteed double digit DKFP in any given game. He’s only scored under 10 DKFP twice in his last 10 outings. At only $3.3k, the Jazz center is someone who will easily boost your overall score while not eating up too much of your salary cap.
