Best NBA player prop bets to consider for Tuesday, March 2nd

We go over the lines on DraftKings Sportsbook and pick out our favorite player prop bets you should consider for Tuesday slate.

There will be a six-game slate of NBA games on Monday with tip-off times set between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. ET. If you don't feel like making moneyline or point spread eagers, there are plenty of other options to choose from ahead of the action.

DraftKings Sportsbook has a wide array of prop bets available for the action, and we’ve identified a few lines that stand out. Let’s take a look at some options worth considering.

Kevin Huerter O2.5 3-pointers made (+140)

Huerter has attempted eight or more threes in five of his last 10 games and is shooting 36.7% from deep on the year. Miami allows more heaves from beyond the arc (41) than any team in the NBA and is one of three teams that gives up at least 15 makes from range per contest. The Heat’s backcourt will be a defensive liability if Goran Dragic and Kendrick Nunn start for a second straight game. Huerter went 1-for-9 from three against the Heat over the weekend, and I can’t see him shooting that poorly again.

Ja Morant to record double-double (+165)

Two of Morant’s six double-doubles this year have come against bottom-10 scoring defenses, and only the Sacramento Kings are worse than the Washington Wizards. The Wizards have two ultra-productive players in their backcourt, but both struggle to guard dynamic talent. The Wizards’ defense ranks last against point guards on DraftKings, so I’m willing to roll with one of the most explosive ball-handlers in the league.

RJ Barrett O25.5 points, rebounds and assists (+103)

Barrett has hit a groove. The second-year guard has scored at least 21 points in two straight games. The San Antonio Spurs are short on wings and are entering the second night of a back-to-back after getting taken to overtime against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. Barrett is in a great spot to keep up his prolific scoring and could also get a rebounding boost against the Spurs’ undersized frontcourt. San Antonio gives up the second-most boards per game to opposing teams.
