The East region is about as normal as it gets compared to the other parts of the bracket, and it’s the only one that still has the top two seeds still alive as well as three of the top four seeds. It is setting up to be a fun fight to the finish as they all battle it out for a spot in the Final Four next week.

Let’s take a look at the odds of some of its top contenders at DraftKings Sportsbook as we enter the second round of March Madness.

No. 1 Michigan-106

Michigan is the betting favorite to get out of the East region after they got past the No. 8 seed LSU Tigers on Monday. The competition is only going to get tougher as the Wolverines are likely to continue playing without Isaiah Livers, who was a key contributor to this team’s success in the regular season and potentially why they are a No. 1 seed. They’ve got a challenging road to the Final Four.

No. 2 Alabama +200

After two games, Alabama looks like the best team in the East, but the Tide are tied for the second best odds in the region to make it out on top. Alabama wasn’t challenged much in each of their first two games, and they play a style that is incredibly difficult to compete with through good defense and an incredibly high number of three-point attempts.

No. 4 Florida State +200

Florida State will be the first of this group to challenge top-seeded Michigan, and it should be a good game with the Wolverines as slight favorites. It’s hard to argue that with now the Seminoles looked in their first two games with a pair of double-digit wins. Still, it’s going to take a lot for Florida State to get out of the East unscathed, and they come in tied for the second best odds in the region to advance to the Final Four.

No. 11 UCLA +500

UCLA is the only team left that won three games already in this NCAA Tournament after beating the Michigan State Spartans, BYU Cougars, and Abilene Christian Wildcats. The competition will get much tougher than that starting with their game against Arkansas, so they are last in odds among teams in the East for a reason.
