The Milwaukee Bucks will go for their ninth consecutive victory when they host the Boston Celtics in the first game of an ESPN doubleheader on Friday, March 26th. Meanwhile, the Celtics have lost five of their last six games including Wednesday night’s road loss to Milwaukee 121-119.
For the Celtics, Romeo Langford and Tristan Thompson are going through the NBA’s health and safety protocols and will not play. In addition, Semi Ojeleye is questionable with a hip injury suffered in Wednesday night’s loss to the Bucks. For Milwaukee, Bryn Forbes is probable, while PJ Tucker and Rodions Kurucs are unlikely to play.
Celtics vs. Bucks, 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
Pick ATS: Celtics +5.5
Let’s go with the road underdogs in a rematch between two teams that are playing each other twice in three days. While Milwaukee’s winning streak is impressive, the Bucks have not done better than oddsmakers expect throughout the run. Through their last nine games, Milwaukee is just 3-6 against the spread. It’s difficult to beat a team twice in a row, and 5.5 points is to many in what could be a toss up on Friday night.
Player Prop: TBD
