Pick against the spread, over/under analysis for Knicks vs. Bucks on Saturday

We go over some of the best betting options for Saturday’s matchup between the New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks.

The Milwaukee Bucks host the New York Knicks on Saturday night. The Bucks are coming off a loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday night in the second of a home set. The Knicks just swept a two-game set with the Washington Wizards. Neither team did much at the NBA Trade Deadline on Thursday, so we aren’t waiting for players to debut or anything. The Knicks had to score 39 points in the fourth to storm back and beat the Wizards on Thursday night. Let’s take a look at the lines for Knicks-Bucks.

Knicks vs. Bucks, 8:00 p.m. ET, NBA League Pass

Pick ATS: Knicks +9

The Knicks aren’t the type of team that will get blown out by the Bucks the way they’re playing right now. Milwaukee could add Khris Middleton to the injury report after leaving briefly last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo is dealing with a knee injury but has played through the past few games. The Knicks were blown out by the Bucks after the All-Star break but that was without Mitchell Robinson. He could help defend Giannis down low a bit. That last game vs. Milwaukee was the last time the Knicks weren’t competitive. I’m just always going to take New York on the points given how tough the team plays.

Over/Under pick: U223

The last time these two teams played, the Knicks gave up 134 points. A repeat of that game doesn’t seem likely. Middleton and Giannis are kind of banged up. The Knicks boast the best defense in the NBA in terms of points allowed per game (104.9). New York has played to under this total in five of their past seven games. This isn’t exactly a spot I’d be looking to LOCK IN, so to speak. If we’re leaning one way, it’s on the under.
