There are a mere three games in Sunday’s main slate on DraftKings. Tip-off times range from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET, and we think one matchup has a ridiculous amount of fantasy upside. Putting all your chips on one game can be risky, but banking on the first game of the night seems like it could yield very desirable results.
Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the NBA game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can read more about the concept of stacking here, but the main goal is to take advantage of this plus-matchup and use the salary cap to your advantage.
Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the NBA slate on Sunday, March 28th.
Note: Kyle Lowry (foot) has been ruled out.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Toronto Raptors, 7 p.m. ET
Damian Lillard ($9,800)
CJ McCollum ($8,000)
Fred VanVleet ($7,800)
Kyle Lowry ($7,500)
Norman Powell ($6,600)
There aren’t many games to choose from in this slate, but this matchup stands out from the rest. The point total is installed at 231.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook, and the Portland Trail Blazers are favored by 1.5 points. If this game is as close as oddsmakers think it will be, expect a heavy concentration of DKFP from stat sheet stuffers.
All five of the players above are almost certain to attempt 10 or more shots and average more than 32 DKFP in March. Both sides rank outside the top 20 at a minimum of three positions on DraftKings, so getting ceiling games from multiple players isn't a stretch.
The players mentioned above are locks to play at least 30 minutes apiece, and average performances across the board should rake in around 200 DKFP. If you’re confident that you’ve found a solid group of value plays at $3,400 or below, you can smash this slate.
