How odds have moved ahead of 2021 Masters

We’ve got the latest numbers for A Tradition Unlike Any Other, which starts just 10 days from today.

The 2021 Masters Tournament just over a week away, and that means things really are looking up across the country. While Dustin Johnson completes the shortest term with a green jacket away from the hallowed grounds of Augusta National in history, we get ready for the event to return to its traditional early April home. Nantz Season is back, and nature is healing!

DJ is the favorite on the board to repeat as winner, checking in at +700 at DraftKings Sportsbook where he opened at months ago. The 24-time PGA Tour champion has preposterous length, with a scrappy yet staid demeanor that can help get through the inevitable rough patches of any major. And his two

Behind him are two guys in search of their second major in Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas at +1000. DeChambeau proved his unusual process worked at Olympic when he picked up the US Open in 2020, and Thomas lifted the Wanamaker Trophy at Quail Hollow in 2017. DeChambeau’s turning every hole into a putt-putt challenge has its pluses and minuses on Tour, but Augusta is the perfect layout for someone that can hit it further than any tour player ever. Don’t expect him to lay up on 13 this week.

The biggest movers include Jordan Spieth cutting his price from +6600 to +1400 with his recent run of terrific play. Three Top 5’s since February have him atop leaderboards, and he’s already won the green jacket in 2015. Going the other direction are the travails of Henrik Stenson, whose recent form has seen him drop from 80-1 to 350-1.

Tiger Woods of course won’t play after his scary car crash, which saw the 2019 winner go from 28-1 to off the board.
