Pick against the spread, best player prop for Warriors vs. Trail Blazers on Wednesday

We go over some of the best betting options for Wednesday matchup between the Golden State Portland Trail Blazers.

Both the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers got the short end of the schedule stick heading into the All-Star break. The Dubs and Blazers start the first of a back-to-back set against each other on Wednesday night. The Blazers get the Sacramento Kings and the Dubs get the Phoenix Suns on Thursday. So again, with the break approaching, don’t be surprised to see some players sitting, particularly important players.

Warriors vs. Trail Blazers, 10:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

Pick ATS: Warriors -2

Prior to defeating the Hornets on Monday night, the Blazers had lost four games in a row. Three of those games were to top competition in the West, but for now, we can consider the Dubs just that. Stephen Curry vs. Damian Lillard should be fun, so expect a pretty close contest. I’ll lean Steph if the game is to be close. Draymond Green (ankle) will be big for this spread. If Green is fine and will play, then we can fire on the Dubs. If Green is out, maybe try and hop on the Blazers getting points at home.

Player Prop: Damian Lillard O4.5 3-Pointers made (-121)

Facing Steph should bring out the best in Dame’s game. Even if he struggles a bit, we know Lillard will get the type of volume that will make it pretty easy to get to 5 3PM in a fast-paced game environment. Dame has hit the over on this number in back-to-back games and has attempted 28 3PT in that span. The only thing that would concern me is Dame resting a bit, but he did pull out of the 3-Point Contest at All-Star Weekend for rest purposes. Draining outside shots in a meaningful Western Conference game is more important.
