The Los Angeles Lakers lost an exciting game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday that snapped their two-game winning streak and will play their second half of a back-to-back against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. The Kings have had some time to think about the heartbreaking loss it suffered at the Buzzer against the Charlotte Hornets over the weekend and will look to bounce back at their home court. We’ve broken down some ideal betting options at DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the action.
Pick ATS: Kings -3.5
The Lakers haven’t played a single game without their two best players this season, but LeBron James (rest) will join Anthony Davis (Achilles) on the pine as Los Angeles looks to wrap up its last game before the All-Star break. Marc Gasol has also been ruled out, while Kyle Kuzma (heel) is also questionable. The Kings might have the worst defensive rating in the NBA, but the Lakers are missing chunks of their offense and defense that can’t be replaced. Sacramento’s plethora of scorers won’t be matched by Talen Hortons-Tucker and Markeiff Morris, so you should roll with the Kings.
Player Prop: Harrison Barnes O27.5 points, assists and rebounds (+100)
The Lakers’ defense should be barbecue chicken for Harrison Barnes with James out. Barnes has hit this over in three straight games while averaging 23.6 points per contest. THT has proven to have solid defensive upside, but his 6’4” frame isn’t built to withstand 6’8” Barnes for an entire game. Barnes is averaging 7 rebounds and 6 assists per game over his last three outings.
