The Philadelphia 76ers remain with the No. 1 record in the Eastern Conference, but they will go in as the underdogs when they take on the Denver Nuggets on the road Tuesday, March 30th. Philadelphia is a half-game ahead of the Brooklyn Nets at 32-14 in the East, while Denver is 28-18, which is tied for fifth in the West.
Philadelphia will remain without Joel Embiid and new addition George Hill, while Monte Morris will be out for Denver with Gary Clark listed as questionable to make his Nuggets debut.
Pick ATS: 76ers +4.5
This will be Philadelphia’s fifth consecutive road game in a six-game road trip, so this isn’t the best spot, but having a few days off since their last game on Saturday certainly helps. Meanwhile, Denver will have one less day of rest heading into this game after a home win on Sunday. We’re going with Philadelphia here as they have been on fire covering spreads at 9-2-1 in their last 12 games. They should be motivated especially coming off a loss.
Player Prop: Ben Simmons O17.5 (-110)
Denver does a fairly good job of defending the three-point line as they rank in the top half of the NBA in opponent three-point percentage. That’s not Ben Simmons’ game anyways since he does almost all of his damage from two-point range where the Nuggets are ranked No. 28 in opponent two-point shooting percentage. He has had a high number of fouls in recent games, so if he can stay out of foul trouble, he should have a good shot to score more than the 17.5 number in this one.
