The Miami Heat will look to make up for a long losing skid when they head on the road to take on the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, March 31st. Miami had lost six in a row until a road victory over the New York Knicks on Monday night. Meanwhile, the Pacers had a quick, two-game winning streak snapped their last time out in a road loss to the Washington Wizards.
Miami will enter Wednesday night’s game with a 23-24 record, which is a three-way tie for sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Indiana is right behind that cluster with the ninth best record in the East at 21-24.
Miami’s Kendrick Nunn is questionable for this game with an ankle injury, and it remains to be seen whether Victor Oladipo will make his Heat debut. For Indiana, Doug McDermott and Jeremy Lamb are questionable with injuries.
Heat vs. Pacers, 7:00 p.m. ET, NBA League Pass
Pick ATS: Pacers +1.5
Indiana has played just one home game in the last two weeks, and a return home should be good for them. Neither team has been very good against the spread recently, as Miami has an ATS record of 1-6 in their last seven, while the Pacers covered just four times in their last 16 games. Indiana has spent a ton of time away from home, and let’s go with them to return home with a cover against a Heat team still trying to work in their trade piece Victor Oladipo sometime soon.
Player Prop: TBD
