In the last game to tip-off on ESPN Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will be taking on the Los Angeles Lakers at 10 p.m. ET. The last time these two teams played each other, Los Angeles defeated Milwaukee 113-106 on Jan. 21.

The Bucks are coming into this contest on a three-game losing streak after falling 129-105 to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. Milwaukee is in the midst of a six-game road trip that started in Los Angeles and will end in Dallas. Despite being on a three-game skid, the Bucks still have a record of 7-3 in their last 10 games.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are walking into Wednesday’s game on a two-game winning streak. Los Angeles defeated the Orlando Magic 96-93 on Sunday night. Denis Schroder led the way for the Lakers with 24 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Off the bench, Montrezl Harrell had a double-double consisting of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Kyle Kuzma also had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. The Lakers have a record of 6-4 in their last 10 games.

Can the Bucks snap their three-game losing streak? Or will the Lakers pull off the upset in Andre Drummond’s debut? We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Bucks vs. Lakers, 10:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

Pick ATS: Lakers +9

The line for Wednesday night’s game is currently set at 9.0 points, with the Bucks being favored on the road. Milwaukee has not played great on the road with a record of 11-10 this season. But in their last five road contests, the Bucks have a record of 4-1. Milwaukee will be without both PJ Tucker and Bobby Portis for Wednesday night. Tucker is dealing with a calf injury, while Ports is still out because of COVID-19 protocols.

The Bucks have not been good against the spread recently with a record of 1-6 in their last seven contests. They are also 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games and overall 7-14 against the spread away from Fiserv Forum this season. The Lakers, who have been without LeBron James and Anthony Davis, are struggling as well ATS. Los Angeles has a record of 1-5 in their last six games against the spread.

Furthermore, the Lakers have a record of 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games versus teams from the Eastern Conference. This season, Los Angeles has a record of 11-15 against the spread at Staples Center. Drummond will be making his Lakers’ debut after being bought out by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He will be an immediate upgrade over what the Lakers currently have in the front court with Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell.

Over/Under Pick: O222

Since we do not have any player props available for either team, we will look at the point total for Wednesday night’s game, which is set at 222. In their last five games, the Bucks have gone over 222 points, four times. As for the Lakers, they have gone over 222 points only once in their last five games. The point total has gone over in five out of Milwaukee’s last six games, while the total has gone under in six out of Lakers’ last seven games.
