In the lone lightweight bout on the main card for UFC 259, Islam Makhachev will take on Drew Dober Saturday live from Las Vegas and ESPN+ PPV.

The 29-year-old Makhachev enters as the overwhelming favorite (-360), with a professional fighting record of 18-1. He is receiving 81% of the handle and 82% of the bets. The Russian mixed martial artist is ranked 14th in the lightweight division and has won six-straight bouts.

In his last fight at UFC 242, Makhachev defeated Davi Ramos by unanimous decision in September 2019. He was scheduled to fight twice last year but couldn’t due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and a staph infection.

Dober walks into the main card bout as the underdog (+275) and is receiving 19% of the handle and 18% of the bets. The 32-year-old has a professional fighting record of 23-9 (1 NC). He is also ranked 15th in the lightweight division.

The 5-foot-8 fighter from Nebraska has won three consecutive bouts heading into Saturday night’s event. Dober last fought in May at UFC Fight Night 171, where he defeated Alexander Hernandez by TKO in Round 2.

Here are the odds and betting splits at DraftKings Sportsbook for Islam Makhachev vs. Drew Dober at UFC 259 on March 6th.
