Players to consider fading in NBA DFS for Saturday, April 10th

We go over some of the biggest NBA DFS fades and overpriced options on DraftKings for Saturday’s main slate.

In NBA DFS, there will always be some flashy names that may tempt you to pay up — even in an unfavorable matchup. Name value sometimes comes with reliability, but the trick to cashing in on your NBA lineups is to maximize the boom while operating under the salary cap. Sometimes, this means fading the chalk plays and spending elsewhere.

Here, we’ll break down three top NBA DFS fades for the game slate on Saturday, April 10th.

Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets ($9,100)

Durant is easing back into things after missing two months with a hamstring injury. While he racked up more than 33 DKFP in 19 minutes in his return, that level of production can’t be matched on a nightly basis. The Los Angeles Lakers are missing both their superstars and the Nets are favored by 10.5 points at DraftKings Sportsbook. Don’t expect Durant to play a ton of minutes in what will likely be a blowout.

Richaun Holmes, Sacramento Kings ($7,600)

Holmes is usually a regular double-double threat but hasn’t recorded one in four games. He’ll face an elite rim protector and rebounder in Rudy Gobert against the Utah Jazz, and the Kings are 11.5-point underdogs. The Stifle Tower’s length and top-tier defending should make things tough on Holmes during a touch stretch.

Moses Brown, Oklahoma City Thunder ($6,600)

Brown bounced back from a bad streak of games by notching a double-double against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but has been splitting time with Tony Bradley ($4,100). Joel Embiid (knee) is questionable for the Philadelphia 76ers, but Dwight Howard is capable of anchoring the Sixers on defense. The Thunder will be at a major disadvantage whether Embiid plays or not.
