Which matches are on Night 1 of WrestleMania 37?

The biggest night in sports entertainment is two nights this year. Here’s who’s competing on Saturday, April 10th

Syndication: Montgomery Shannon Heupel

Like last year, WrestleMania is a two-night event this go-around with a wide variety of matches filling the card for the spectacle of spectacles. But this year, we’ll have about 25,000 fans in the stands, and it’ll should look and feel much more like a WrestleMania then it did last year on the closed set of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Here is the complete list of matches for Night 1 of WrestleMania 37, live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, April 10th.

WWE Championship — Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

The battle for the top prize on the Monday Night Raw brand will take place on Night 1 as Drew McIntyre will look to recapture the WWE Championship when taking on the “Almighty” Bobby Lashley. There’s been scuttlebutt and speculation that this may actually open the show and given that this will be the first match performed in front of fans in over a year, they’re going to want to deliver something like this match to get the 25,000 at Raymond James Stadium hyped.

SmackDown Women’s Championship — Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair

“The Boss” Sasha Banks is set to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship when defending against the “EST” of WWE, Bianca Belair. It is speculated that this will be the main event of Night 1, so we’ll see come showtime.

Raw Tag Team Championship — The New Day (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos

As 11-time tag-team champions, the New Day are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history and they’ll have a new challenge when defending their belts against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and bodyguard Omos. The point of emphasis on this match is that this is Omos’ in-ring debut, so we’ll see how he handles the pressure of the moment.

Bad Bunny & Damian Priest vs. The Miz & John Morrison

The marquee celebrity showcase of this year’s Wrestlemania as Grammy Award winning pop superstar Bad Bunny teams with up-and-coming Raw superstar Damian Priest to battle The Miz and John Morrison. Bunny has been reportedly training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando for months, so all eyes will be on what he does in the ring.

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

A potential show-stealing match between workhorses Cesaro and Seth Rollins will take place on Night 1, a potential showcase match for Cesaro as a singles superstar.

Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman (Steel Cage Match)

The annual Shane McMahon car crash match will take place inside of steel cage when he faces the “Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman. The question here is what kind of insane bump will Shane McMahon take off the cage (or potentially off the pirate ship at Raymond James Stadium).

Naomi & Lana vs. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke vs. The Riott Squad vs. Natalya & Tamina vs. Billie Kay & Carmella (Tag Team Turmoil Match)

A late addition to the card, these eight women will duke it out in a tag-team turmoil match where the winners will face Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on Night 2 of Wrestlemania on Sunday.
