Best NBA player prop bets to consider for Tuesday, April 13th

Six NBA games are on tap for Tuesday and we had an afternoon contest between the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves that got underway at 4 p.m. ET. DraftKings Sportsbook has a wide array of prop bets available for the action, and we’ve identified a few lines that stand out. Let’s take a look at some options worth considering.

Deandre Ayton to record double-double (+100)

Ayton is starting to figuring things out as a scorer and rebounder and has notched a double-double in four of his last five games. He’s notched six in his last 10 games, and three came against top-10 rebounding teams. The Miami Heat are a middle-of-the-back team on the boards and are undersized at both power forward and center. Ayton racked up 17 points and 16 rebounds the last time he faced the Heat, so I like his chances to double down on double-doubles.

Kendrick Nunn O2.5 assists (+104)

Nunn has notched at least three assists in 46% of his games this year. He’s played less than 20 minutes seven times in his 39 appearances for the Miami Heat, but is almost certain to play more than 30 as a fill-in for Victor Oladipo. Nunn is averaging 2.8 assists per game in starts and has dropped more than two times in 65% of games he’s played at least 30 minutes in. The Phoenix Suns have a sturdy defensive backcourt, but the numbers favor Nunn here.

Caris LeVert O4.5 rebounds (+118)

LeVert isn’t running the show at point guard now that Malcolm Brogdon is back, but his rebounding has been on the rise since late March. LeVert has snagged at least five boards in seven of his last 10 games. The Pacers have needed help on the boards since Myles Turner sprained his ankle, and LeVert is picking up the slack. The big guard hasn’t dropped below five boards since before Turner got hurt, so I’m confident riding with him. Even against a strong rebounding team.
