The game between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets on Thursday afternoon at Citi Field has been postponed due to rain. The game had begun at 12:10 p.m. ET and was delayed in the first inning before the two sides decided to cancel it and reschedule for a later date.
This was the series finale in a four-game set, so the game will likely have to be made up at a later date. The Mets have to travel out to Colorado to face the Rockies on Friday while the Phils head back home to face the St. Louis Cardinals this weekend. Jacob deGrom was set to face Zach Eflin in this matchup. We’ll see if deGrom gets skipped in the rotation or if he ends up starting at Coors Field on Friday.
