Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard won’t be back in action until next week. Leonard is struggling with a sore foot and won’t play in Tuesday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He’ll be re-evaluated in a week, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Leonard flirted with a triple-double by totaling 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday after missing his four previous games with foot soreness. Playing over the weekend might’ve aggravated his injury, and Leonard’s health will be paramount for the third-seeded Clippers as they look ahead to the postseason.

Excluding Tuesday’s game, the Clippers will take on the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, and Toronto Raptors in the next week. Paul George has been asked to carry a heavy offensive workload for the Clippers in recent weeks. That could continue to be the case for him as the regular season winds down.
