How public is betting and DFS considerations for Zhang Weili vs. Rose Namajunas

In the women’s strawweight championship bout, the co-main event for UFC 261, Zhang Weili will take on Rose Namajunas in the main event Saturday night live from Jacksonville, FL. It’s the second of three title fights on the main card.

The 31-year-old Weili enters as the favorite (-200), while receiving 61% of the handle and 62% of the bets. Weili has a professional fighting record of 21-1 and won 20 straight fights. The Chinese fighter is the champion of the women’s strawweight class and ranked third in the women’s pound-for-pound rankings. She last fought at UFC 248 in March, defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk by a split decision.

Namajunas walks into the octagon with a professional fighting record of 9-4 and is ranked first in the women’s strawweight division. The 28-year-old is a slight underdog (+165)and is only receiving 39% of the handle and 38% of the bets. “Thug” Namajunas defeated Jessica Andrade by split decision in a rematch last year at UFC 251.

Weili is the more accomplished fighter in this championship title fight, but do not count out “Thug” Namajunas on Saturday. The last time the Wisconsin native competed in a five round match, she won by unanimous decision and scored 79.3 fantasy points.
