The 2021 Academy Awards air Sunday night, with the show starting at 8 p.m. ET and likely ending sometime after 11 p.m. The show is scheduled for three hours, but it never finishes on time.

The show will close in the 11 p.m. hour with the presentation of Best Picture. Nomadland is the favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook with odds at -590, with The Trial of the Chicago 7 the next closest at +600.

The order of presentation is not know in advance, but we can look at recent Oscars to get an idea of some of the more notable awards and when they’ll be presented. The show almost always opens with one of the Supporting Actor/Actress awards. It has alternated between actor and actress and last year it was Best Supporting Actor to open the show. We can expect Best Supporting Actress to open the show, with Youn Yuh-jung a heavy favorite at -835 for her role in Minari.

It is fairly unpredictable from there for most of the show, but we know the big four awards will close the night. Best Picture is the last award, and it is preceded by some combination of Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Director. Usually the Actor and Actress awards happen back-to-back. Last year, the final four were Director, Actor, Actress, Picture. In 2019, it was Actor, Actress, Director, Picture. Best guess this year would be Director, Actress, Actor, Picture.
