The Philadelphia Eagles will now have the 12th overall pick in Thursday night’s NFL Draft after swapping first round picks with the Miami Dolphins in March, who now have the sixth overall pick.

The Eagles, who have a new head coach in Nick Sirianni and starting quarterback in Jalen Hurts could use their first round selection on a wide receiver. The Eagles have used their last two first round picks on offense (Jalen Reagor, Andre Dillard). Or they could also use it to address their defense, which also lacks playmakers at linebacker and cornerback. As of now, the public seems to putting their money behind Jaycee Horn and Jaylen Waddle. Both players can help them immediately next season as Philly looks to keep up with Dallas and Washington.

Best Bets

Jaycee Horn (+300)

After spending a ton of draft capital at wide receiver over the last two seasons, Philly makes the right selection and gets one of the best cornerback prospects in Horn. The 6-foot-1 defensive back will be starting opposite of veteran Darius Slay Day 1 and finally gives the Eagles a competent pair of starting cornerbacks.

The former South Carolina standout can hold his own on the outside and has the versatility to play across all three cornerback spots. The last time the Eagles drafted cornerback in the first round, you have to go back to 2002 when they took Lito Shepard.
