The Big Ten has a few players such as Justin Fields, Kwity Paye, Micah Parsons, and Rashawn Slater, who could hear their names called on Thursday. Last year, we saw five players from the Big Ten headlined by Chase Young and Jeff Okudah, who were all drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. It is a strong possibility that the Big Ten could surpass this number in Cleveland, Ohio this year.
Player Odds
Total Big 10 Players Drafted in the First Round: Over 6.5 -+100, Under 6.5 -125
Best bet
Over 6.5 +100
With the odds for over 6.5 sitting at +100, it’s too good of a bet to pass up. As of right now, we know for sure that Fields, Paye, Parsons, Slater, and Greg Newsome II should be picked somewhere within the first round. That gives us five Big Ten players right there.
We could go over 6.5 later in the round, depending on Rashod Bateman and Jayson Oweh. Both players have been mocked in the first round at less than 20%, per the consensus mock draft. If we see a run happening at wide receiver or EDGE early, then those players will find themselves in the first round.
