Los Angeles will put the ball in the hands of Trevor Bauer, who has been as advertised since signing a three-year deal in the offseason. Bauer has a stellar record of 3-0 with an ERA of 2.53. He’s also produced a ridiculous 45 strikeouts in only 32.0 IP. In three starts against the Brew Crew, Bauer has an ERA of 2.66 and 32 strikeouts in 20.1 IP. Meanwhile, Milwaukee has been hit hard by the injury bug. The team already lost starting outfielders Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain to injury. And now their best starting pitcher Corbin Burnes was placed on the injured list. The Brewers have won three out of their last five games, but only hitting .217 as a team. Lauer will be making his season debut after being recalled from the team’s alternate site on Wednesday. In four games last season, he had a record of 0-2 and ERA of 13.50.

There’s a ton of juice on Bauer’s strikeout prop, which does not come as surprise. He’s been downright electric on the mound and the Brewers’ offense is not in great shape.
