The Golden State Warriors are coming off their most devastating loss of the year and are looking to rebound against an Atlanta Hawks team that’s gained momentum since Lloyd Pierce was fired and replaced by Nate McMillan. This is expected to be a close matchup according to the odds on DraftKing Sportsbook, and we've weighed in on the betting options available ahead of tip-off.
Warriors vs. Hawks, 7:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV
Pick ATS: Warriors +2
The Warriors got flat-out embarrassed against the Toronto Raptors on Friday but will benefit from having their most important player back in the fold. Stephen Curry is set to return from a one-game layoff and dropped 68 points in his last two outings. He’ll face a Hawks team with one of the NBA’s worst defensive backcourts. Atlanta also won’t have two of its top three scorers. De’Andre Hunter has been out for a while with a knee injury, but John Collins getting added to the injury report with an ankle sprain tips the scales in Golden State’s favors. The Warriors’ wings are a lot better when they can feast off of Curry’s gravity.
Player Prop: Stephen Curry O4.5 three-pointers (+108)
Curry was limited in March but has still made at least four triples in four of his last five games. He’s faced two top-five scoring defenses — the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz — in his last five games and shot 11-of-20 from deep against them. There’s no reason to think Atlanta will be the team to slow him down.
