There will be nine games on the main NBA slate at DraftKings on Wednesday, so there’s a lot for fantasy players to sort through. Finding cheap players who can produce at a high level can be key to DFS success, and several big men stand out ahead of the action this time around.
That being said, it is a great time to give you some value plays for your DFS contest. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays under $5K that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. It does not matter if you are playing a 50/50 or Double Up contest, we are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Davis Bertans, Washington Wizards, $4,300
Bertans flourished for the first time in a long time on Monday. The stretch four scored 32.5 DKFP while Bradley Beal and Rui Hachimura missed time with injuries. Both are questionable for Wednesday’s matchup against the Orlando Magic, and Russell Westbrook has to get help on offense from somewhere. Bertans made five of his eight threes on Monday and should continue to be a quality play if Beal and Hachimura can’t play.
Tony Bradley, Oklahoma City Thunder, $4,000
Bradley has outplayed Moses Brown in two straight games for cheap, and three of the Thunder’s five centers are injured ahead of their Wednesday matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. Charlotte is pretty good against the center position defensively, but passing up a player who will play more than 20 minutes and has returned 7x value twice in each of his last two games should be hard to do.
Goga Bitadze, Indiana Pacers, $3,000
The Pacers’ frontcourt managed to get even more banged up on Tuesday. Myles Turner suffered an ankle sprain that caused him to miss most of the second half against the Chicago Bulls, and Domantas Sabonis is questionable with an ankle injury that’s sidelined him for two games. JaKarr Sampson’s 6’7’’ frame is far too small to play significant minutes at the 5 against Karl-Anthony Towns, so expect a healthy dose of Bitadze whether Sabonis returns or not. Bitadze returned 8x value in just 19 minutes against Chicago..
