The Chicago White Sox will be looking for the early season three-game series sweep over the Seattle Mariners at 4:10 p.m. ET on Wednesday afternoon. The White Sox are coming off of a dominating 10-4 victory over Seattle on Tuesday night. Lucas Giolito was on the mound for the Sox as he only allowed four hits, three earned runs, while striking 10 in 5.2 innings pitched.

Along with Giolito, Chicago also got a ridiculous power surge from Luis Robert and Jose Abreu, who both hit home runs and had a combined seven RBI. As for the Mariners, they struggled on the mound and offensively. Veteran LHP James Paxton got the start but only lasted 1.1 innings pitched due to a forearm injury. Then Seattle only received significant production from the top of their order with Mitch Haniger and Ty France hitting a combined 4-10 with three RBI.

On Wednesday afternoon, Dallas Keuchel will get the start for the White Sox, while the Mariners will start Justin Dunn. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

White Sox vs. Mariners, 4:10 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: White Sox -159

The line for Wednesday game is currently set at -1.5 runs, with the White Sox listed as the favorite. Chicago is also the favorite on the moneyline at -159. The White Sox’s offense has been absolutely on fire this series, outscoring the Mariners 16-4. Chicago will hope to keep that up against Seattle starter Justin Dunn. The 25-year-old had an average 2020 season, where produced a 4-1 record and 4.34 ERA in 10 starts.

While Dunn’s record looks good, he did allow 10 home runs and only struck out 38 in 45.2 innings. A good majority of his home runs came against left-handed hitters, who hit six home runs but slashed .193/.358/.458. This could be good news for guys such as Adam Eaton and Yasmani Grandal.

As for the White Sox, Keuchel will to have a better outing than he did against the Los Angeles Angels to the start. The former AL Cy Young winner gave up six hits, four earned runs, and two walks, while striking out four in only four innings of work. Over his career, Keuchel has pitched well against the Mariners. He has a record of 9-8 in 19 starts with an ERA of 3.25. However, Seattle has hit the most home runs off of Keuchel with 16 over his career.

Player Prop: Yasmani Grandal to hit a home run (+420)

We are going back to home run props, which can be very volatile due to anybody can walk into a home run. For Wednesday’s slate, we are going to focus on Yasmani Grandal, who will be facing Justin Dunn of the Mariners. Last season, Dunn gave up 10 home runs, including six to left handed hitters.

Grandal, who is a switch hitter, has hit more home runs against RHP as a LHB in his career — 120 home runs. Also, he will be batting fourth behind Jose Abreu, which provides him with some protection and possibly better pitches to hit. Over his career, the veteran catcher is hitting .249/.343/.429 with 25 home runs (third-most) and 91 RBI when batting fourth in the lineup.
