NASCAR’s Xfinity Series is back after a three week break. The circuit is racing on Friday evening at Martinsville Speedway with the running of the 2021 Cook Out 250. The race starts at 8 p.m. ET and will air on FS1.

The race will not have a qualifying run due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following last year’s change, NASCAR is using a performance-metrics formula to avoid excessive exposure during the pandemic. The metric is split into 25 percent comes from a driver’s finishing position from the previous race, 25 percent comes from the car owner’s finishing position from the previous race, 35 percent comes from the team owner’s points ranking, and 15 percent comes from the fastest lap from the previous race.

Harrison Burton claimed the pole for the Cook Out 250 and he is joined on the front row by Justin Allgaier. Allgaier is the favorite to win this race, installed at +350 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Burton has the third best odds at +500. A.J. Allmendinger is between them at +450.

Last year, the Martinsville Xfinity race was the Draft Top 250. Burton won the race and was followed by Allgaier, Noah Gragson, Jeb Burton, and Ross Chastain in the top five.

Here is the full starting lineup for Friday’s 2021 Cook Out 250.
