Pick against the spread, best player prop for Raptors vs. Jazz on Saturday

The Utah Jazz dropped out of the Western Conference’s top spot following a Friday loss to the Phoenix Suns and will attempt to rebound on Saturday against the Toronto Raptors. Utah has been a much better team all year, but Toronto has done very well against the spread against the Jazz as of late. Let’s go over the best betting options for the matchup on DraftKing Sportsbook ahead of tip-off.

Raptors vs. Jazz, 10:00 p.m. ET, NBA League Pass

Pick ATS: Raptors +6.5

Both teams will be missing key players in this game. Mike Conley (hamstring) could return from injury after sitting on Friday, but Donovan Mitchell is still out with an ankle sprain. The two guards are arguably Utah’s most important offensive players, so getting enough from Bojan Bogdanovic and others will be huge for the Jazz. Toronto is resting Kyle Lowry, and Chris Boucher (MCL) and Gary Trent Jr. (lower leg) are out. That evens the playing field, but I like the Raptors’ history against the Jazz. Toronto is 5-0 ATS in its last five games against Utah and 6-0-1 ATS in its last seven games at Vivint Arena. I like the away team’s odds because the Jazz are missing their top scorer and playmaker.

Player Prop: Khem Birch O7.5 rebounds (+110)

Boucher has missed four games with an MCL injury and Birch has averaged nearly nine rebounds per game during that stretch. The Raptors are leaning heavily on the former Orlando Magic big, and he’s logged at least 33 minutes in three of his last four games. Aron Baynes has fallen all the way out of the rotation, so I like Birch’s odds to hit this prop with only Freddie Gillespie competing for minutes at center.
