The 2020-21 NBA regular season is in its final week as most teams have about 3-4 games left before the playoffs. The 2021 NBA playoffs are set to begin after the play-in tournament, which runs from May 18-21. The postseason will get going on May 22. The standings are pretty tight in each conference, so we don’t know how the seeds will shake out. The Western Conference picture looks like it’s starting to take shape, but you never know what can happen.

The Utah Jazz look like they’ll end up securing the No. 1 overall seed in the West this week. They have a 2.0 game lead on the Phoenix Suns. The Suns are 3.0 games clear of the Los Angeles Clippers, so right now it looks like 1-2 will be Jazz-Suns. The Clippers and Denver Nuggets could swap spots in the 3-4 slots only 1.0 game apart. After that, the 5-7 seeds are a fight between the Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers. Let’s take a look at the bracket for the West heading into the final week. We’ll be updating this bracket leading into the play-in tourney.
