Tuesday night’s matchup between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics will have plenty of ramifications for the play-in tournament. With just four games left for both teams, Miami is the current No. 6 seed with a 37-31 record, two games ahead of Boston, which has the seventh best record at 35-33.
The Celtics will continue life without Jaylen Brown, who is out for the rest of the season with a wrist injury, and Robert Williams III is questionable for Tuesday’s game with a toe injury. Victor Oladipo remains out for Miami, and reserve power forward Nemanja Bjelica is out with a stomach illness.
Heat vs. Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT
Pick ATS: Celtics +2
Both teams should put out a full effort as this is a huge game for play-in tournament purposes. A Heat victory could just about guarantee them a spot inside the top 6. Miami came out on top in Boston 130-124 on Sunday, but we’re betting against the Celtics losing two home games in a row in what is somewhat of a must-win situation. The Celtics need to prove to themselves they can play well offensively without Brown because they’ll need their top scorers to step up without their All-Star.
Player Prop: TBD
