The second leg of the Triple Crown is live from Pimlico Race Course Saturday, as the $3 million Grade 1 Preakness Stakes will have 10 three-year-old horses competing, including the temporary-and-not-official Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit. Despite the doping allegations against the trainer of the colt, he is still the favorite at 9-5 to complete the second leg of the biggest prize in horse racing.
Preakness Day racing will be broadcast from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and then switch over to network NBC from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Run for the Black-Eyed Susans gets underway at 6:47 p.m. ET, according to the listed post time. Live coverage is also available on NBCSports.com as well as the NBC Sports app. Peacock will offer a replay of the race.
Attendance will be limited to just 10,000 fans, and all tickets have been sold.
You can also livestream the event on NBCSN’s website if you have a cable or streaming service login. If you don’t have a cable login to access NBC Sports Network, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream it. You can also download the Twin Spires app for any Roku enabled device, and you’ll be able to watch the Kentucky Oaks live.
