The No. 9 seed Memphis Grizzlies will face the No. 10 seed San Antonio Spurs will meet each other in the 2021 NBA play-in tournament to decide the 7-seed in the East. The Grizzlies and Spurs will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday night on ESPN. The winner will face the loser of thee 7-8 game between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers/Portland Trail Blazers to see who gets the 8-seed.

With the Grizzlies-Spurs matchup already set in stone, DraftKings Sportsbook wasted no time getting up opening odds for the game. We’re going to take a look at the lines and give a first take.

Grizzlies vs. Spurs play-in tournament odds

Spread: Grizzlies -3 (-112)
Moneyline: SAS (+120), MEM (-148)

This is the widest spread of the three play-in tournament matchups that we know about. We could see some movement here because neither team is very imposing. The Grizz get the edge in the paint with Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke. Memphis also has Ja Morant and a bit more depth overall. My early lean is rolling with the Grizz at -3 at home in the one-game playoff.
