What are the Heat odds to win the NBA Championship?

We go over the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook for the Miami Heat to win it all in the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

The 2021 NBA Playoffs have arrived. The playoffs opens with a play-in tournament for the 7-10 seeds in each conference, followed by the first round of the top eight seeds. We’ll be breaking down DraftKings Sportsbook odds for each team to open the tournament and as teams advance through each round.

The Heat may be a sleeping giant in the NBA playoffs out of the East this season. This is mostly because they’re the reigning East champions returning pretty much the same roster from last year’s run to the Finals. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will anchor both sides of the ball. Perhaps the biggest question is which Tyler Herro will show up? Last year in the postseason, Herro made a name for himself with a few big-time performances. His sophomore season left much to be desired. Can Herro be the third option behind Butler and Bam? That could be the thing that allows the Heat to return to the Finals or exit early.

Heat odds to win NBA championship, May 17: +3000

The Heat are 30/1 to win it all and 12/1 to come out of the East on DraftKings Sportsbook. Their path to the Finals likely won’t be as easy as it was last year, but Miami could end up facing a few familiar foes. Really, as long as the roster stays healthy through the playoffs, the Heat will be a solid value bet at these odds. We’ll see whether or not homecourt impacts Miami after going on a run with basically no fans in the bubble in 2020
