Moneyline pick, best player prop for Yankees vs. Rangers on Tuesday

After the New York Yankees spent the weekend mashing baseballs in Baltimore, who would have guessed that they would be silenced by the last-place Texas Rangers and lose with Gerrit Cole on the mound? You can’t predict baseball, man. But we’ll still try to here. Here are some ideal picks for tonight’s game on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Yankees vs. Rangers, 8:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

Moneyline pick: Yankees (-148)

Jameson Taillon and Mike Foltynewicz will be on the mound, so I’d bet that this won’t be a pitchers’ duel. The Yanks put Giancarlo Stanton on the IL on Monday, but on the bright side, Luke Voit crushed his first homer of the season last night. New York’s lineup can be so inconsistent, but I say New York bounces back after seeing its ace get beat in the series opener.

Player Prop: Isiah Kiner-Falefa to score a run (+180)

This line must assume that IK-F will bat seventh tonight against Taillon. He has split his time between seventh and the leadoff spot in the Rangers’ lineup lately. If he is put in the No. 1 hole tonight, this is an incredible value. Even still, Kiner-Falefa is having a pretty surprising season as he is hitting .292 with 28 runs, only one behind the team leader in that category, Nick Solak (+100 to score tonight). Kiner-Falefa doesn’t strike out much, is willing to take a walk, has eight stolen bases and should be able to get on base a couple of times against a starting pitcher who has yet to make it through five innings in three road outings this year.
