Opening odds for Week 1 of college football

We’ve got some early spreads ahead of Labor Day weekend games starting on September 4th.

The early lines are here from DraftKings Sportsbook, just 109 days ahead of the first Saturday of the season on September 4th.

There is a Week 0 this year as well, with a five-game slate on August 28th that includes Hawai’i at UCLA and Nebraska at Illinois. But the unofficial start of the season, as has been the case in recent years, is a Week 1 that stretches from Thursday to Labor Day Monday with almost all 130 FBS teams in action.

We’ll likely see these lines move plenty as we get closer to kickoff, but it’s nice to start thinking about tailgates and season ticket renewals once again. While there will still be transfers and roster changes between now and the fall semester, you’ll have some baseline to see what the early oddsmakers and bettors think about the upcoming season.

Here are the opening odds for Week 1 of the 2021 college football season from DraftKings Sportsbook:

Georgia vs. Clemson -4 (in Charlotte)

Penn State vs. Wisconsin -3.5

Alabama -16.5 vs. Miami (in Atlanta)

LSU -4.5 vs. UCLA

Notre Dame -9.5 vs. Florida State
