The 2021 NBA Playoffs are set to get underway on Saturday, May 22 after the play-in tournament. We still have a few series that need to be decided, but we already know the matchups for the 3-6 seeds in the Eastern Conference.
The No. 3 seeded Milwaukee Bucks will host the No. 6 seeded Miami Heat in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. These two teams are pretty familiar with each other if you go back to the 2020 NBA playoffs. The Heat came out of nowhere to shock the No. 1 seeded Bucks in the second round, winning that series in a gentleman’s sweep of five games. These two teams have had pretty different seasons this time around. The Heat underperformed after reaching the NBA Finals last year. The Bucks finished strong and head into the postseason with championship aspirations again.
Here we’re going to track the results and provide everything you need to know for the series, including odds, betting and fantasy basketball picks and injury reports. We’ll also add in the schedule when that’s released with TV info and game times.
Update — The Bucks completed the four-game sweep of the Heat on Saturday afternoon with a 120-103 win in Miami. The Bucks will advance to the second round, where they are likely to face the Brooklyn Nets.
