What we know about Grizzlies vs. Warriors play-in tournament game

We break down the matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors for the NBA play-in tournament.

The Western Conference play-in teams gave us plenty to talk about, unlike the East. In a wild Wednesday night, we saw the No. 9 Memphis Grizzlies edge the No. 10 San Antonio Spurs while the No. 8 Golden State Warriors were unable to pull off the upset over the No. 7 Los Angeles Lakers. The Dubs are going to want their game vs. LeBron James and the Lakers back. James had to hit a circus 3-pointer just to get L.A. into the playoffs and avoid the 8-seed game. Ja Morant, Jonas Valanciunas and Dillon Brooks carried Memphis by San Antonio 100-96.

Now, the Grizz and Warriors will face each other to decide who gets the 8-seed and the rights to face the Utah Jazz in the first round of the playoffs. Let’s take an initial look at the game.
