Miami Heat injury report heading into 2021 NBA playoffs

How are the defending Eastern conference champions faring on the injury front going into the postseason?

The defending Eastern conference champions Miami Heat enter the 2021 NBA playoffs as a No. 6 seed and immediately meet their opponents from last season’s East finals in the No. 3 seed Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat have the players and belief to make another surprising run to the finals, although they’ll be down one key addition from this season.

Victor Oladipo, knee — Oladipo has been out since suffering the injury April 8 vs. the Lakers. He is reportedly slated to miss all of next season as well, severely impacting his free agency prospects. The Heat have not been able to get the most out of Oladipo and clearly wanted to have him for the postseason when they made the move for the dynamic guard.
