The Washington Wizards officially qualified for the NBA playoffs by blowing out the Indiana Pacers. They will enter as the No. 8 seed of the Eastern Conference and match up with the Philadelphia 76ers in a first round series starting on Sunday, May 23. The Wizards should be at full strength to start the postseason aside from a pair of season-ending injuries that occurred earlier this season.
Washington Wizards injury report
Deni Avdija, ankle — Deni Avdija did some light shooting prior to the Wizards’ play-in game against the Boston Celtics, but he was ruled out for the rest of the season last month with a right fibular hairline fracture.
Thomas Bryant, knee — Thomas Bryant tore his ACL early this season and will not be available for the playoffs.
