ABC will host Saturday’s first round NBA playoff matchup between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets with tip off set for 8:00 p.m. ET. The game will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
If you aren’t around a TV to check out this NBA matchup, you can stream the game with ABC, WatchESPN, or via their mobile apps. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription. If you don’t have a cable login to access ABC for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.
The Nets enter the postseason as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. They finished the season with a record of 48-24 and are one of the favorites to win the East and possibly the NBA Finals. Brooklyn is led by the big three of James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving, who have only played less than 10 games together. The Nets swept the three-game set from the Celtics in the regular season.
The Celtics enter Game 1 as the No. 7 seed in the East after defeating the Washington Wizards in the play-in tournament on Tuesday. Boston will not have Jaylen Brown for this year’s playoff run, who is out with a season-ending injury. Therefore, the Celtics will have to lean on Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker. Tatum had an outstanding season, averaging 26.4 points per game on 45.9% shooting from the field. He continued his phenomenal play with a 50-point performance against the Wizards earlier this week.
