The second day of the 2021 NBA Playoffs is underway and we’ve got four games on the schedule for Sunday. The first day of the playoffs left big shoes to fill for these four series with the Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers each coming away with big upsets. We also had the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat rekindle their rivalry in the postseason with an OT thriller that ended with a Khris Middleton game-winner. The Brooklyn Nets began their march to the NBA Finals by knocking off the Boston Celtics behind 32 points from Kevin Durant.

We’re going to take a look at the schedule for Sunday, May 23rd and then give a quick recap for each of the four games.

(8) Washington Wizards vs. (1) Philadelphia 76ers, Game 1

The Wizards made things interesting against the top seed in the Eastern Conference in Game 1, but Philadelphia's depth powered the favorites to a win. Joel Emiid got in foul trouble early and watched a large chunk of the first half from the bench, but Tobias Harris exploded for 28 first-half points and finished with a game-high 37 in the Sixers’ 125-118 win. Embiid bounced back in the second half and ended the game with 30 points in 30 minutes.

Russell Westbrook was a triple-double threat as usual, but wasn't;’ much of a scoring threat and turned the ball over six times. Bradley Beal led Washington’s offense with 33 points and 10 rebounds.

Beal lead all players with 55.5 DKFP and was trailed by Ben Simmons ($51.75) and Harris (51.5). The Simmons double-double prop at +210 that we highlighted ahead of tip-off hit in a peculiar way. The oversized point guard scored just six points but racked up 15 rebounds and 15 assists. The Sixers barely failed to cover the spread as 8-point favorites.

(7) Los Angeles Lakers vs. (2) Phoenix Suns, Game 1

The Suns held off LeBron and the Lakers to take Game 1 on Sunday afternoon 99-90 at home. Phoenix goes up 1-0 in the series despite entering as the underdog to win. Chris Paul got banged up in the win, hurting his shoulder, which clearly held him back. It didn’t matter much because of playoff debuts from Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. Book finished with a game-high 34 points with 8 dimes and 7 rebounds. Ayton had a massive double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds while keeping Anthony Davis in check down low.

Booker was the game's most productive fantasy player and tallied 55.25 DKFP. He was trailed by James (48.25) and Ayton (44). The Lakers failed to cover the spread as 2.5-point favorites.

(5) Atlanta Hawks vs. (4) New York Knicks, Game 1

(8) Memphis Grizzlies vs. (1) Utah Jazz, Game 1
