The Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox will open up a two-game set at Fenway Park at 7:10 p.m. ET. Charlie Morton will be on the mound for Atlanta, while Garrett Richards will get the start for Boston. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Braves vs. Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Braves -110

Atlanta is walking into Tuesday night’s contest, winning four out of their last five games, which includes a three-game series sweep over the Pirates. Meanwhile, the Red Sox saw their four game winning streak come to an end on Sunday against the Phillies. The Braves will turn the ball over to Charlie Morton, who has a record of 2-2 and an 4.60 ERA through nine starts this season.

In his last outing against the Mets, the 37-year-old starter allowed 2 hits (1 HR), 1 earned run, and struck out 8 hitters in 6.0 IP. It was the first time that the veteran pitcher went six-plus innings since April 20 against the Yankees. In three road outings this season, Morton has a record of 0-1 and ERA of 4.41. Additionally, in 11 career start against the Red Sox, the veteran starting pitcher is 6-1 and has an ERA of 4.01.

Meanwhile, Richards has turned things around since being lit up in his first two starts this season. The right-handed pitcher has a record of 4-0 and 2.27 ERA in his last five outings. The veteran pitcher is 4-2 with an ERA of 3.72 through nine starts this season. In Richards’ last outing against the Blue Jays, he allowed 7 hits, 2 earned runs, 4 walks, but still put up 5 strikeouts in 6.2 IP. However, the 32-year-old has struggled at Fenway Park this season, with a 1-2 record and 7.11 ERA in three starts.

Player Prop: Charlie Morton over 5.5 strikeouts (-118)

If the Braves want to take Game 1 of this quick two-game set, the veteran right-handed pitcher needs to duplicate what he did against the New York Mets.

This season, Morton has gone over 5.5 strikeouts in six out of his nine starts. He’ll be going up against a Boston offense that struck out 12 times to Phillies starter Zack Wheeler Sunday. The Red Sox are averaging 8.83 strikeouts per game this season and 13 strikeouts in their last three gamers.
