The 2021 Champions League final pits two Premier League heavyweights against each other for club soccer’s biggest European prize. Manchester City, seeking its first Champions League crown, is appearing in the final for the first time. Chelsea, looking to win its second Champions League title, is making its third appearance. The match takes place this Saturday starting at 3 p.m. ET on CBS All-Access via Paramount+.

In a matchup loaded with stars on both sides, here are the top plays for bettors at DraftKings Sportsbook when it comes to Chelsea.

Best bets for Chelsea

Away team goals over 0.5 (-167)

For “administrative purposes”, the winner of the PSG-Manchester City semifinal leg was awarded “home” status for the final in Portugal, which makes Chelsea the “away” team. In their last six Champions League matches, Chelsea have scored at least one goal in five. Manchester City is a tough defensive unit, but the Blues are a strong attacking team. Since Thomas Tuchel took over as manager in January, Chelsea have scored 37 goals in 29 matches. They’re a strong bet to net at least one here.

Olivier Giroud or Timo Werner to score (+325)

Both Giroud and Werner are even bets to score in the final, but the latter is more likely to find the back of net in open play. Giroud thrives off set pieces and service into the box, something Manchester City will have an easier time cutting off. These two are Chelsea’s top scorers in Champions League play while Werner has a couple additional goals across all competitions. Chelsea is a balanced unit with plenty of attacking options, but there’s a good chance one of these two is getting a goal. Werner will have more opportunities than Giroud, but you can’t discount the French forward in this match.

Both teams to score in regular time (+104)

I’m not sure why this option exists at + money, but this is amazing value for bettors. As mentioned above, Chelsea have scored at least one goal in five of their previous six Champions League matches. Manchester City have scored at least one goal in their previous six UCL matches. Chelsea scored 58 goals in the Premier League while Manchester City netted 73. City won the team’s first meeting this year 3-1 before Chelsea won the reverse fixture 2-1. These teams know how to score and they know how to score against each other. Expect both to find the net in the Champions League final.
