Best MLB team stacks for DFS on Thursday, May 27th

We go over some of the best MLB teams to stack for DFS on DraftKings for Thursday’s main slate.

Josh Rojas is the best hitter on the MLB Slate

We have a 13-game slate in the majors on Thursday, which means there are still multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has six games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.

Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Thursday, May 27th.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 8:10 p.m. ET

Jose Abreu ($5300)
Yoan Moncada ($5000)
Nick Madrigal ($3300)

It was not a great day for us stack-wise as the Reds-Nationals game was suspended in the 4th inning, the Blue Jays-Yankees game was postponed, and the Giants stack only netted us 7 points. But it is never too late to start a brand new win streak. Therefore, our first team stack to lead off the day is the White Sox, who are opening up a four-game series against the Orioles.

Chicago is one of the best teams in the AL, let alone the majors, while Baltimore is riding a nine-game losing streak. The White Sox will go up against Bruce Zimmermann. The Orioles starter has not been great with a 2-3 record and 5.59 ERA in eight games. He has struggled on the road as well with a 6.87 ERA in four starts this season. Jose Abreu is a great option to lead off your stack with. Righties are hitting .292/.351/.525 off of Zimmermann this season with 7 HRs and 17 RBI. Abreu has hit two HRs in his last four games for the White Sox.

Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks,

Nolan Arenado ($5700)
Tommy Edman ($4800)
Paul Goldschmidt ($4100)

The St. Louis Cardinals will be our second stack play on the main slate Thursday night. The Cardinals will be looking to carry their momentum over from their win on Wednesday night when they play the Arizona Diamondbacks at 9:40 p.m. ET. DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total currently set at 9, which is the highest on the board. The Diamondbacks have lost 10 consecutive games.

Matt Peacock will be on the mound for Arizona, who is 1-1 and a 4.91 ERA through 10 games. This will only be his third start as he’s been used mostly as a relief pitcher. Lefties are hitting .289/.300/.579 with 3 HRs and 10 RBI this season. Although Paul Goldschmidt isn’t a left-handed batter, he has recorded a hit in six out of his last seven games.

Rangers vs. Mariners, 10:10 p.m. ET

Isiah Kiner-Falefa ($4000)
Adolis Garcia ($3600)
Nate Lowe ($3500)

In the final game on the main slate, the Texas Rangers will be traveling out to the Pacific Northwest to play the Seattle Mariners. Kolby Allard will get the start for Texas, while Chris Flexen will be on the mound for Seattle.

Between the two teams, the Rangers are the better stack option, especially against Flexen. This season, the 26-year-old starting pitcher is 4-2 with an ERA of 5.09 through eight starts. Despite having four wins on the season, left and right-handed hitters are crushing Flexen with batting averages of .346 and .322 respectively. If you play this stack, rookie outfielder Adolis Garcia is a great option at a $3600 value. In his last five games, Garcia is averaging 18 fantasy points per game. This season, the rookie is hitting .288 with 16 HRs, 41 RBI, and recording 10.6 fantasy points per game.
