Friday’s NBA slate features three pivotal Game 3s, including one which could all but seal a preseason championship contender’s fate. Here’s how fans can tune in to Friday’s games on TV and via live stream.
New York Knicks @ Atlanta Hawks (series tied 1-1, Hawks -4 in Game 3)
Time: 7 p.m. ET
National TV: ESPN
Local TV: MSG, Bally Sports Southeast
Live stream: WatchESPN
The Hawks come back to Atlanta having stolen home-court advantage from the Knicks. A lot has been made about playoff basketball making a return to Madison Square Garden, but Atlanta fans have suffered through three painful seasons themselves before getting to witness playoff hoops. Trae Young will look to stay hot and put on a show for the hometown crowd.
Brooklyn Nets @ Boston Celtics (Brooklyn leads 2-0, Nets -7.5 in Game 3)
Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
National TV: ABC
Local TV: YES2, NBC Sports Boston
Live stream: WatchESPN, ABC
The Nets have been firing on all cylinders since starting slow in Game 1. Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving are meshing well together and will now look to get role players involved, like they did with Joe Harris in Game 2. The Celtics might be down another starter with Kemba Walker questionable to play, further dimming their hopes in this series.
Los Angeles Clippers @ Dallas Mavericks (Dallas leads 2-0, Clippers -2 in Game 3)
Time: 9:30 p.m. ET
National TV: ESPN
Local TV: Bally Sports SoCal, Bally Sports Southwest
Live stream: WatchESPN
After getting completely overwhelmed defensively in two losses, the Clippers are still considered slight favorites for Game 3 on the road. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George need to rally the troops to avoid another embarrassing playoff exit while Luka Doncic will look to continue dominating a team he probably felt the Mavericks could’ve beat last season in the bubble.
For both ESPN games, if you don’t have a cable login, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the games.
